No address handy?
A1 · COVER

A Solana wallet, balanced into a ledger.

Drop an address into the formula bar. We pull its recent transactions, file each one as a swap, a receive or a send, mark the dollar value on the day it happened, and work out FIFO gains token by token. Three clean CSV files fall out the bottom.

Read this before filingThis is a bookkeeping shortcut, not tax or investment guidance. It reads at most 300 transactions, can misfile complicated ones, and prices some rows from a daily close rather than your real fill. Hand the files to an accountant or tax app and let them check. You will never be asked for a recovery phrase or private key here, and anyone who asks for one is trying to rob you.

Waiting for an address. A 100-row read usually takes 10 to 20 seconds.

Working notes

how each column gets filled
1
Read

We list the wallet's newest signatures up to your row count, then open each transaction and record how this wallet's SOL, wrapped SOL and token balances moved. A tiny SOL change sitting next to a token move is booked as account rent, not a trade.

2
Classify

Value left and value arrived: swap. Value only arrived: receive (a transfer, airdrop or reward). Value only left: send. Failed transactions still burned a fee, so they stay on the sheet.

3
Price

When a swap has a SOL or stablecoin side, that side sets the dollar value, using the day's SOL close or $1. Otherwise the token's own daily close from Jupiter or DefiLlama. If neither exists the cell stays empty. We do not invent numbers.

4
FIFO

Each swap-in or receive opens a lot at its dollar value. Each swap-out closes the oldest lots first. A send moves lots out without booking a sale, because the receiving wallet might also be yours.

5
Blind spots

Older activity beyond the 300-row cap is invisible, so sales of tokens bought earlier land in "no basis". On fast-moving coins a daily close can sit far from your real fill. LP positions, staking, NFTs and bridges are not modelled.

Questions

short answers
Do I need to sign in or approve anything?

No. An address is public, so we read it the same way any block explorer does. The browser-wallet button only asks your wallet for its public address; nothing is signed and nothing moves.

Which tax software takes these files?

The journal uses common column names (sent amount, received amount, fee, net worth, tx hash), which most crypto tax tools can map on import. Expect to match columns once by hand.

Why are some USD cells empty?

A token with no SOL or stablecoin side in the swap and no daily price history can't be valued honestly. We leave it blank so you can fill it in rather than trust a guess.

Is anything stored?

A finished read is held in memory for a few minutes so a refresh is instant, then dropped. There are no accounts and no saved wallet lists.
